2K World Cup 2016/S1. Rounds 1-4

Summary of the Rounds 1 to 4 of the 2K World Cup 2016 - Season 1.

After four rounds of the Season 1 of the 2K World Cup –2016, four drivers of Positive SimRacing are in the top 10 of the driver’s Standings. So far, Mikko Nässi is dominating this first season, with three consecutive pole positions and three victories. PSR drivers Arjan de Vreede and Paul Malokas are currently un P4 and P5 of the championship.  The team has gone from less to more, starting with a difficult race and obtaining 4 top 10 in the last round.

First round of the season took place in Brands Hatch Circuit, in December 20th. In that round, only Arjan de Vreede managed to finish in the top 10. Arjan was defending his P2 of the driver’s standings in the last championship, but in this race, he started in P17 and he had a very difficult first laps.

Brian Doell and Paul Malokas were the two top 10 for PSR in the second round, which took place in Laguna Seca Raceway. Arjan de Vreede also showed a good pace, but he received a Stop&Go Penaly for exceeding the speed in the pitlane, which eliminated him from the battle for the top positions.

First podium for PSR took place in Round 3, where Arjan de Vreede, Ricardo Faria and Paul Malokas finished in P3, P4 and P5, respectively. The race finished after an epic battle between two cars of PSR (Arjan and Ricardo) and Philippe Leybaert.

Fourth Round took place in Homestead Road. Ricardo Faria, Brian Doell, Arjan de Vreede and Paul Malokas showed a good pace, with 4 top 10 for PSR, and a new podium for Arjan de Vreede.
