The road to the 2019 VRS Endurance World Championship starts this weekend in the Road Atlanta circuit. Six extremely difficult rounds will conclude with 25 cars joining the next World Championship.
In 2017, Positive SimRacing launched the Drivers Development Programme, with the goal of preparing two cars for the last edition of this qualifier. In a few months, we were ready for the challenge. Despite the lack of experience, we played a good role, finishing close to the top 25. We didn’t succeed, but that encouraged us to work harder to be better prepared, and acquiring additional experience.
One year later, we return stronger. However, we know that luck is also an ingredient of the recipe for the success. Avoiding incidents, hardware issues, disconnections, net codes… there are a lot of things out of our control. We will try to minimize all of them, as much as possible, and compensate any potential issue with a good plan. This is racing!
This year we are proud to present two strong cars:
- The UI1-Positive SimRacing Blue: Adaildo Vieira, Bradlee Haley, Guilherme Buzato and Roy Kolbe.
- The UI1-Positive SimRacing Orange: Jake Burton, Javi Utreras and Renan Azeredo.
