Top 5 in the 6 h of the Glen

After the good races completed by Positive SimRacing in the 24 h of Le Mans and the 24 h of Spa, the team took part again in in the 6 hours of the Glen. In this ocasion, the team placed again two cars in the grid of the top split, both being the Mercedes GT3. Both cars showed a good pace, with posibilities to fight for the top 5, but only the Positive SimRacing Orange clinched the P5, with Javi Utreras, Mat Mann and Adaildo Vieira. The other car, the Positive SimRacing Yellow finished in P12, with Roque Garcia, Lucas Colombo, and Nick Rowland, showed also a good pace, but the car didn't finish the race. Both cars were placed on top 10 at the start, with Yellow team starting P5 and Orange starting P9.

The beginning was intense, with the leader building a strong gap for the group behind (8 cars together for more than 20  laps). After this intense battle between teams, the first stint finished with Orange on P8 and Yellow on P9. Unfortunately, our Yellow car spinned on the beginning of stint at the bus stop. Lucas Colombo managed to come back but was hitted for a Ford GT. That caused 20 minutes repair for them. Orange was climbing the grid and was already on P7. Both cars could aim to finish in top 5.

With this third race, after the 24 h of Le Mans and the 24 h of Spa, Positive SimRacing consolidates in a racing discipline that was never explored before. The launching and the good performance of the Drivers Development Programme powered by VRS is one of the main arguments behind this success.
