In only one month and three rounds, the extremely short format of the 2017 iRacing World Championship GP Series completed the 25% of the championship. The two drivers of Positive SimRacing took part in the third round, in the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit of Montreal (Canada). This was the second race for Daniel Bida, who had a good start, but with unavoidable incidents in the lap one due to the traffic. Daniel had to make an extra stop and repairs, but he still managed to finish in P25. As he recognised, this was perhaps a missed golden chance based on his good pace. However, considering what happened in lap 1, this was a good result for the team.
This was the first race of the season for Diogo Oliveira, who had a difficult start of the season due to technical problems, but it seems that the Brazilian driver has recovered his pace. Despite he had to start from the pits, he managed to finish in P24, after an intense full-race battle with Gobi. The target of the team is to keep the two secure the participation of both drivers in the 2018 World Championship, and therefore to finish in the top 30. The results must improve during the next rounds, although we are not far from that target.
